	2004/07/31(土) 日本語で失礼します

というのもなんだかおかしいのだが、最近怠けもいいとこなので、だったら日本語でも書いたほうがマシかなーと思い。。。

まず勉強に関して。今月のテストも無事パスし、今3番目のレベルであります。周りの生徒も「何でお前ら学校来てんの？」っていうぐらい話せる人が多く、いい感じ。最近はディベートばっかやってるけど、evidenceを使わないためどうしても感情論・個人的見解に収まってしまうことが多いため、無駄に論理詰めのWESSのディベがちょい恋しい。外国語を話すというのは不思議なもんで、西洋人と話すと俺の頭が超高速で働き、英語もきれい・スムースになる。でもアジア系の人と話すと、自然とリラックスしてしまうため、英語も初級者同然になりさがる、気をつけようとしてもだめ。脳というのは不思議なものでございます。で、今はというと次の学校の入学試験(?)へ向けてTOEICコースを受けてる。俺の予想スコアは800周辺、来月末の公式テストへ向けてどれだけダメをつぶせるかが課題だ。

8月2日より、俺はホームスティでただ一人の生徒になる。おとといRaquelが去った。西洋人と別れるのは日本人と別れるよりもある意味辛い、めっちゃ感情的でドラマチックな人種なもんで。たかが4週間という期間のわりに、彼女は俺をここまで悲しくさせ帰って行きました。そんで8月2日にはLinが去る、まーたかが2週間だしどーでもいいんだが、いずれにせよ俺はハウスメイトを失う、いてぇ。ファミリーともっと上手くやってかなくては。

最近体重がまた落ちたので、大量のジャンクフードを買い込んだ。不健康が俺のダイエットである。

今日はカリバーナという、黒人のためのカーニバルみたいなお祭りに行ってきます。雨ですが…では

	2004/07/25(日) 2nd tennis

In the morning, I cleaned my room after a long separation because it was too terrible to live in(actually not so much...?). I like spending a time slowly especially in morning.

And I played tennis also today, but with different members. The member who joined today were Lin, Chiemi, Brian, Laquel, and Laura. Actually, all of girls were beginner, so it couldn't be game. But we had a good time. After 6 games, we ate lunch on grass beside the lake of Ontario. After lunch, we took a nap for 2 hours, it made my skin very black...

	2004/07/24(土) Dance dance dance

Nowadays, I can sleep very well, probably because of new room & bed, so I slept until 10 on this morning. But today, I had a plan to play tennis with my school mates and teachers, so I went to meeting place. The number of members was 7. We played in official rule! A team who won 6 games first would be a winner. Because of this rule, we played about 9 or 10 games for 1 match, which was so tiring. But professional player plays 4 or 5 sets for 1 match, it means more than 40 games! amazing! I respect them really...

We played it from 12 to 3, and we went to a coffee shop to drink something. We had a good time, and I & some of my friends went eating late lunch.

After lunch, I saw off them, and went to meet my classmates of this month at 7 o'clock. We had a party because most of them will leave this week or month. We went to a restaurant which was categorized between a club and a pub because everybody wore just T-shirt or some casual clothes, it's impossible in a club! But there are dancing places, pool tables, and live concerts. Fistly we just ate dinner and drink alcohol, but later we played pool, and dance dance and dance! Of course I'd never learned dance, but it wasn't important. Enjoying music and time was very important. Finally, I stayed there until 2, and went back home.

	2004/07/22(木) I'm alive.

Long time no see, everybody. I'm fine, but a little bit busy, tired, and lazy. Today, I finished the test of this session, probably good as far as I concerned. I hope I can go up to next level, even though I can't get a business course.

If I have a time, I'll keep a diary about these past days. Now, I'm thinking about my following time in Canada and trip after all the stuff. I usually spend a time with my friends especially in weekends, but nowadays I sometimes need to be alone for thinking about something in somewhere after school because I spend a time with my house mate even at home, no private!

Maybe from tommorrow, I'll restart keeping a diary... now loading....

	2004/07/14(水) title

Today, I didn't feel well but not because of sick, so I skipped the whole classes. Instead of it, I went to library and studied by myself about grammer and pronounciation, which was very good to me. Actually, studying by myself is more effecient than doing in the school because I've already known basic knowledge about English. Then, what should I be taught in the school? I think we have to do something creative & exciting in English, for instance discussion, presentation, making a plan, promoting event, internship...etc. Of course I have some discussion or presentation, but I've never prepared for it very much, like just for 2 hours. It had to take 5days for preparation. Oh, I heard a lot of information about another school from my friends who were GV students and are studying in another school now. It sounds very good! I don't understand why not only in my school.

After studying I went eating lunch with a Korean girl. She's also graduated our school, and we ran into each other by happen. We went to Japanese restaurant, and I ate Chicken-Tatsuta, which was very good.

When I went back to home, Laquel asked me to go to ふーりお's birthday party, and my answer was "Yes". I asked Lin to go with us, and we went to meeting place. All of them were Spanish besides us, so they spoke Spanish all the time, even if there're good at speaking English

	2004/07/11(日) Oh, shit

9th→I went eating to Italian buffet restaurant with Italian, Spanish, Mexican students, very international! But ironically, they spoke their own language, oh...no. The restaurant was good enough to enjoy my lunch. After that, I reserved my airplane ticket to Fredericton. I'm going to leave here on 11th in September. And then, I went to Royal Ontario Museum for the first time. I looked around for 1 hour and a half by myself. It was very huge museum, but not for me. I prefer an art museum.

10th→I slept until 3 o'clock besides breakfast and lunch. And I studied for 2hours. At 6, our ex-housemate whose name was Toru came to our house for dinner. He is Japanese, and now he has been working for Japanese restaurant in Toronto. He was a little quiet guy, but looked very nice guy. And with him, Lin, Laquel, Pauline and Jeff, I had a very nice dinner time, which was the funniest ever!

Today→I received the very bad news, I can't get business course even I pass the test in this month because it will be full until September. So I lost my goal now... I have to decide another goal, and start some new thing, otherwise my following school days will become terrible!! Get real! Shit! What a fuck'n situation is it? What a fuck'n system of the school is it? They can't prepare even one more class room for business course, even if there are a lot of other students who want to take business course...
But anyway, I played tennis with my friend, and ate lunch in Korean town, but nothing special. I have to figure out my problem first.

	2004/07/07(水) Ichiro

Firstly, I have to mention about my new housemate from Spain, a girl. Her name is Laquel, 20 years old. She came here from last Thursday, but I had gone to travel, so I didn't see her until this Monday. She is pretty, but actually most of Spanish girls are pretty I think. And her English is almost perfect, because she studies in the highest level from the first! Her major is also English. But unfortunately, her stay term is just 1month, until 29th of this month. It's a pity!

Today after school, I went to see baseball game to see Ichiro. There were a lot of Japanese, and especially girls were shouting...lowbrows(ミーハー). Jays won the game today. But the game itself was not so interesting. Ichiro's condition was also not good.

	2004/07/06(火) outside theater

Today, I skipped the morning class, because I was so exhausted, because I hadn't taken enough rest after the trip. I slept, slept, and slept.

From afternoon class, I attended the class because I had a vocabulary test, but the class itself was so boring because we played our own countries' music, it's not English! I think this month's afternoon teacher is too lazy.

After school, I studied at the library and went to High park to see the play of Shakespeare. In summer every weekday, the outside theater would be opened. The play was very funny and cheerful, but today was so cold, and I wore just 2 T-shirts...Oh, no. Today, I made a friend whose nationality is Arab for the first time.

	2004/07/04(日) Just go back

Go back to Toronto! But it was raining, thunder struck something, and heavy traffic jam...we arrived 22:30, so tiring. The total cost was less than 300 though.

	2004/07/03(土) 3rd day...natural side of Quebec

We got up at 8, and firstly we went to the bakery was indicated in my guide book for breakfast. My guide indicated they would serve a bread hot from the oven with maple syrup, but actually the bread wasn't hot, so we were dissapointed. For me, it was my first time to try maple syrup in Canada because ordinally the Canadian don't use it in their daily life because of its price.

After breakfast, we went to Canyon in Quebec. There were forest, rock mountain, and falls, whice were beautiful and dynamic, perhaps Grand Canyon in USA seems to be much better though. It cost 8$ to see, but it had enough worth for me.

3rd, we went to Island to take a rest. we drove the car around the island, and just sat down beside river by seeing the sight of Quebec city, such a nice time!

Finally, we came back to Quebec city, and we ate dinner at a italian restaurant. I ate pasta, soup, and pudding with a cup of coffee. It was nice, but anyway expensive! Quebec is the city just for foreigner I think.
