	2004/06/30(水) Move!

Today, I went back to home at early time to move my luggage from my ex-room to my next room because our new house mate who is Spanish girl will come on July 1st. I played music, and made a glass of cafe au lait, and start moving. It took several hours.

From tomorrow, I'm going to Quebec and Montreal for 4 days. I'm really looking forward to this trip because even(?) Otawa was tremendously beautiful. I hope we can enjoy this travel without any accident.

	2004/06/29(火) Gabby's night

I could pass the test, so now my level is intermediate 2, one more to take the business course! Oh, anyway, I could keep on chasing my goal. I'm gonna study hard this month, even about the contents I won't study in the class because I have to pass the next text definitely. But anyway on every weekends I'll have some plans, so I have to study in week days.

After school, I joined 'Gabby's night', which was a kind of pub night in school activity to meet new friends. Nowadays, a lot of students, especially Spanish and Brazilian come to my school just for 1 month, so now there are over 400 students in our school! It's rediculous! I talked to some of my friends and a few new students. But after one hour, my Swiss friend wanted to go eating Japanese food, so I took him and other friends to Japanese restaurant. Members were 3 Japanese, 1 Swiss, and 2 Spanish. I ordered Ten-don, and the others ordered such as Tempura, Teriyaki chicken, Tenpra-udon and so on. It was very nice, and talking was also nice.

	2004/06/26(土) また消えた・・・

えっと、今日はみんな９時半ぐらいに起きました。おそ！でも単純に旅行ってだけじゃなくて休暇の意味もあるし。特にドライバーは疲れるよね。俺は早めに起きてジョギング。Fresh AIR!

朝食後３時間ほどかけてオタワまで。まずはユースホステルにチェックイン。刑務所を改造してホテルにしたという異色のホステルで、でもドミトリー式でちょっと快適性には欠けるかも…という感じ、でもとにかく安いし、問題なし。車は駐車して、市内観光。全てがきれい！清潔！ロマンチック！んー、すばらしい。トロントとぜんぜん違うわ、こりゃ。この日は国立美術館と、ノートラダム聖堂を見て、丘の上から市全体を見渡しておしまい。特に市の眺めと、美術館のゴッホの絵が見れて満足。観光後はバッフェ形式のレストランでディナー、たった12＄で、しかも味も上々。ちょっと気持ち悪くなるぐらいまで食べました。

ホステルに戻って地下で飲み。この日も2時ごろまで起きて就寝。

	2004/06/25(金) Algonquin Park -travel vol.1

Hi, long time no see! I've gone travelling to Algonquin Park and Otawa. We rent a car and stayed at a motel and a youth hostel. And the total cost was just 200, incredible price! Of course we enjoyed our time very much.

Firstly, we rent the car(Toyota カローラ), and went shopping for some stuffs and alcohol. In Canada, the liquor shops are just two chain stores, and no discount, it means they are too conservative about drinking alcohol, and smoking in pub is also prohibited, so my friends miss smoking with alcohol...

Then, we started driving to Algonquin Park, it took about 4 hours. Algonquin park is the large national park, there are huge forests, lakes, and a lot of wild animals. Firstly we went around the park by car and enjoy the sight, which was beautiful, fresh, fantastic. And then we chose one of hiking courses, and start hiking. However, there were many & big mosquitos! Damn it! We had to walk fast, so actually we couldn't enjoy hiking well. And we also couldn't see a wild animal, it's a pity... But we could see a beautiful lake, and took a rest at there.

After hiking, we went to a motel, it was my first time to stay in a motel. We were 4 people, and we were suppose to sleep at 2 semi-double beds in one room...with girl! but here is in Canada, who cares? No problem...perhaps. At first, we tried to do BBQ, but equipments of BBQ were too dirty, so we had to give up it. In stead of it, we went to restaurant. I ate a wine stew, and enjoyed pool & darts.

At the motel, we had a party and watch the EURO 2004. Somebody was dissapointed with losing of France. We stayed up late at night until 2, and went to bed.

	2004/06/21(月) 2nd Japanese day

Today was listening & reading test day. Actually, I don't know how to prepare for these tests, so just took it. It wasn't easy, but not bad, I think.
After school, I talked my friend, who is Brazilian. Even though he isn't good at English, he has his own company and achieved some big jobs. He won the grand prize of shockwave! Just for looking, he doesn't look like such person, but now I respect him some.

Then, I went to Japanese restaurant with my friends, both of them have working experiences. Today was Japanese day, I hadn't had it last month, so I was missing Japanese food. "Ichiriki", that restaurant was so nice because it was a real Japanese restaurant. Owner is Japanese, and food was also real, traditional Japanese food, and music was Jazz, very nice. I ate Ten-zaru-soba, rice, Gindara, Ogura-ice cream, and drank beer. It cost 21$, very reasonable. We mainly talked about job and girls. They have a lot of experiences, so talking with them was very interesting. They said it's difficult for me to be sales person, because I'm not good at just achieving quota without moral. I think so, maybe I'll have to change my mind. However, my ideal job isn't such kind of it. I wannna be honest even for job. I wanna find a company or service I really wannna work for.

	2004/06/19(土) Club

Today, I woke up at 9:00, and did my stuffs, especially washed my bed clothes. And I started to study for the test with Lin. He wanted to listen the Japanese music, now he is very curious about Japanese!

After 2 hours, at 15:30, we went out to meet our friends. We picked them up, and went to certain place to meet with Lin's teacher. Her name is Christie, she is Chinese and her English was very good, she graduated Boston University! She wanna know about our school because one of her friend wants to establish a language school. So she treated us dinner at Canadian restaurant. I ate grilled salmon and we talked about our life and school with her, but her questions were sometimes very strange, I guess she hasn't think what kind of question she needed. But anyway, she knew a lot of things about English and very friendly, so it's O.K.

Then, we moved to the club, and drank cocktails and talked again. For Lin, it was his first time to go to the club, such a nice place.

	2004/06/15(火) Canoeing

Today, I've enjoyed canoeing for the first time through the school activity. Actually, today's my health condition wasn't so good, I was too sleepy and tired, how could I enjoy such hard sport?

But anyway, I couldn't cancel this activity, no, we can't cancel any activity in this school, so after all I went to a meeting place with my class mates and another Japanese guy.

In conclusion, we did canoeing from Toronto to Toronto island for 2 hours and a half. Even though I felt pain with my arms, it was so exciting and comfortable because of exercise and wind of the lake of Ontario, so I got feeling better.

	2004/06/14(月) Review of these days

A week was passed. Lastweek, I really studied a lot, I studied about business through "MBA Basic"...English and Japanese book published by NHK. It was a really nice book for studing business and its vocabulary. I studied it from 4 to 7 or 8 o'clock, and after going back to home, I looked over it with CD-ROM. I seldom used internet, and instead of it I talked with my host family and Lin a lot.

However on last Saturday, I went to 'wonderland', the biggest amusement park in Canada with my friends. But on such a nice weekend, there were a lot of people. So even though each attraction took just about a few minutes, we had to wait for 1 hour and more, so exhausting... And there were only scaring attractions, such as roller coasters. I don't mind riding them 3 or 4 times, but everytimes were too much! very tiring...maybe I was having some stress while making a line to ride them. After all, we stayed there until 18:30.

After going back to Toronto, I make excuse for cancelling the party with Swiss and Brazilian friends. They said they were going to club for dancing after 1st party at pub, but I was too tired to go there, so I just had greeting with them and said good-bye. But actually, I drank alcohol with my Japanese and Korean friends who went to wonderland together...maybe I just wanna drink with them, not for excitement. I drank for about 2 hours, and I found out the important fact, I left my house key at my room! That time was over 23:30, if I called my host family, they would kill me! Oh, how stupid I am... However, I had to manage to solve the problem, so we went to internet cafe' to try to connect with Lin on MSN messenger. However, I couldn't find him on line. Actually, I heard the next day, he was online and tried to communicate with me at that time, however the computer at the internet cafe was too stupid one, so I couldn't receive his message. Oh, jesus...finally I took final choice, I stayed at Chiemi's house again. I owe her a lot, so I would have to give it back to her in some way.

And I woke up at 7:30, went to Lawnsdown station, and picked my friends up to play tennis, and we played tennis, ate lunch, and walked around down town... very nice time, but I'd better take a rest.

So anyway, I'd been living my life with some trouble and exhausion. But I won't take enough rest until I finish exam of this month.

	2004/06/08(火) 休止？

と、言うわけではないのですが、ネットをしてると結構時間を食うため、しばらく休みます(って休止じゃん)。はい、今日またチャリがパンクしました。歩いてチャリ屋に行ったけど開いてなかったので、仕方なくストリートカーで家に戻り、自分で直しました。むー、俺のチャリは災難続きです、傷だらけの自転車…あんましカッコよくねーな。

あ、休止の理由はこれではなく、つまり今週は勉強しようかと思ってるのです。最近良くも悪くも生活に慣れてきて、向上心というものが薄れてきてる気もするし、今月のテストは絶対パスしなきゃだし、んー、というわけで、勉強そのもの＋気持ちを入れ替える意味でも今週は勉強してみようかなと、はい。ゆえにたぶんNothing specialなので、日記もしばらくお休みします。もちろんなんかおもれーネタができたらお伝えします。

	2004/06/06(日) TOEIC

Today, I thought I was too tired to go out, so actually I ate meals, and slept a lot. And before dinner, I took TOEIC test through textbook, just practice. I worried how much my TOEIC score became. It should be improved, otherwise it would be terrible...getting worse! But actually, my expected score was from 810～840, got better than before coming here! Maybe, I could improve for 50 score. I really felt relief C=(^◇^ ;

Today's dinner was like BBQ at outside, but still cool. And after that, I played tennis with Lin, because yesterday's game couldn't be a good match.
